April Damaso

April is a Vancouver-based Senior Product Designer with over 13 years of experience crafting user-centered digital products that are as intuitive as they are impactful. She specializes in UX/UI design for complex web applications, design systems, and research-driven product strategy.

Long before “UX” was in her vocabulary, April was teaching herself HTML and Photoshop in Grade 5, drawn to the quiet magic of turning ideas into something real on a screen. That instinct never left. Today, she partners with startups, enterprise, and public sector teams to untangle complex flows and lead end-to-end design for large-scale platforms until everything just clicks.

They are a proudly queer Filipina designer, bringing her lived perspective into the work she creates and the spaces she helps shape. Outside of design, you’ll find her at a drag show, building custom mechanical keyboards, experimenting with Arduino, or doting on bulldogs with the same level of care she brings to her craft.
